Job profile

 

The Purchasing Specialist of international procurement office is responsible for ensuring the required support is in place to ensure all aspects of procurement activities are running smoothly in  key business, involving supplier sourcing, T&C and price negotiation, receiving and processing information related to purchase orders, and collaborating relevant teams.

Main responsibilities

 

·         Supplier sourcing

·         Coordinating end-to-end from procurement point of view

·         Negotiate T&Cs and prices

·         Acreage vender account

·         Sending IPO quotation and releasing IPO purchase orders

·         Delivery schedule tracing

·         Sending open order status reports

·         Arranging delivery

·         Creating monthly reports

 
Requirements

 

·         Experience as a buyer within a procurement function

·         Fluent Japanese

·         Effective communication skills

·         Good computer skills including accurate data entry, word processing, PowerPoint and Excel worksheets

·         Ability to plan effectively

·         Experience working with multi-cultural teams

·         Relevant degree OR equivalent buyer experience
