A brilliant opportunity has arisen to work with one of our clients who is a global leader in the IT Industry. They are offering a great opportunity to move forward into their team as an Accounts Assistant.
You will be expected to take responsibility for the company's day-to-day finance operations, working with the Finance Officer. You will ensure timely and accurate reporting and book-keeping and will provide other financial and administrative support when necessary.
Accounts payable/receivable for UK and group offices in Europe
Maintaining staff petty cash and company expense accounts
Deal with supplier queries and maintain customer account information
Reconciliations (supplier/bank) and overdue debt management
Assistance with admin and reception duties (e.g. purchase orders, courier support etc)
Other ad-hoc responsibilities may be added from time to time
At least 1 year of experience in accounting-related or admin-related roles
Working experience of Sage or similar systems will be a strong benefit
Experience of working in a Japanese company, understanding of Japanese corporate culture a strong bonus
Good PC skills, strong user of Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Attentive to detail and calm under pressure
Self-starter with an ability to multitask and get the job done
Strong communication skills

Typically Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
Paid overtime (if required)
