£25,000 £30,000 per annum

Job Profile

Our client is a well-established accounting firm in London, seeking a candidate with experience providing support services within payroll department.

Main Responsibilities

·       Liaising with Japanese clients regularly to obtain payroll data in Japanese and English and compiling that information into format required by payroll department

·       Liaison between Japanese clients and non-Japanese speaking staff

·       Assisting with requests to Japanese expat clients for tax return data

·       Assisting with new client take-on procedures, including information required for expat payroll set-up

·       Fielding Japanese-language general phone enquiries

·       Prepare Japanese translations/supporting information for email, proposals, reports and other documents

·       Provide PA support to Japanese department (eg assisting with appointments, “madoguchi” for Japanese contact organisations, enquiries, assisting with business trip preparations etc)

·       Assist in preparing and sending out marketing and similar communications

·       Provide reception cover from time to time

Who we are looking for

·       Japanese language skills (in speaking, writing and reading) for appropriate communication with Japanese customers and colleagues

·       Strong IT skills

·       Administration skills to deal with high volumes

Visa

Eligible to work in the UK without any restriction
