Japanese Lifestyle brand is looking for a Brand Engagement / Marketing / PR Manager who is passionate about outdoor or fashion industry.

 

Job Description 

Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

 

-Plan, organize and lead various promotion events with the support of the team and possible PR/Marketing/Creative agency to build a strong relationship and to project a positive image of the brand

-Strengthen brand engagement among our target customer groups through effective and consistent brand marketing activities 

-Prepare compelling contents that excite our target customer groups and convert them into customers by using SNS, websites, e-mail news and other media 

-Be a main contact of all kinds of media, especially in core outdoor/fashion/lifestyle industries, and respond to their enquiries and handle editorials, interviews, sample/product placement, press previews, campaigns, events and others with the assistance of possible PR/Marketing/Creative agency 

-Build a strong relationship with core outdoor/fashion/lifestyle media and invite them to events for promotion 

-Report to management on monthly KPIs that show the degree of success of projects that have been undertaken 

-Create a promotion/travel budget plan for the team and the company and be responsible for budget control and report it to management regularly 

-Foster a positive environment that inspires the Company to achieve higher penetration of the Company in regional communities and the outdoor/fashion industry 

-Prepare an engagement plan to increase brand recognition 

-Implement measures for greater brand exposure both online and offline 

-Strategically build relationships with important retailers, agencies, influencers, celebrities, other brands in the industry and fans of the brand 

-Organize photo shooting and shows in all directions, production of look books, catalogues, digital materials and other promotional materials 

-Actively assist the other members of the team on any occasion 

-Create influential media advertising and support the selection of that media 

-Conduct market surveys to understand the tastes of our target groups and market trends 

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

Strong passion for outdoor and fashion industry

3+ years’ experience within a similar event activation, marketing and PR operations role, preferably in outdoor and/or fashion retail 

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and people management skills, able to work well to deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently 

Demonstrated ability to manage and build great relationships with both internal and external stakeholders 

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team oriented environment using sound judgment in decision-making 

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, “self-starter” environment 

Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills 

Willing to join the company events, store events etc internationally

Team player with a positive 'can-do' attitude 

Energetic and enthusiastic – has a sense of urgency 

Ability to multi-task and meet simultaneous tight deadlines 

Has the ability to thrive in a challenging environment where priorities often change

Excellent communications skills and ability to build relations 

Highly organized with excellent attention to detail 

Passionate about the customer and all elements of the customer experience 

Fluency in Japanese is a plus
