General Affairs Administrator (1 Year Contract)

 

Salary

 

£23,000 -  £25,000 per annum

 

Job profile

 

A Japanese global trading company is looking for an General Affairs Administrator who can assist senior management and its team.

 

Principal Accountabilities

·           General facilities management

·           Distribution of and arrangement of postal deliveries and couriers

 

·           Purchase of stationary / refreshment suppliers and maintaining stock.

·           Housekeeping of meeting rooms and all areas of the office.

·           Liaise with landlord as or various maintenance suppliers when necessary.

·           Liaise with data archive / recycle company.

·           Deal with expense slips and invoice payments

 

·           Travel and accommodation arrangement (including negotiating with suppliers and carrying out inspections

 

·           Handle expatriate employee’s general issues including temporary accommodation, housing, inventory checks, council tax, medical expenses, insurance and club memberships.

·           Deal with various miscellaneous matters as and when they arise.

·           Assist with the company social events as and when needed.

 

·           Maintain the monthly Europe/Russia/NIS regional staff lists and complete adhoc reports from the Corporation.

 

·           Update various HR&GA forms and lists on the Company Intranet.

 

·           Additionally the position-holder will assist the HR team with administration duties as and when required.

 

Qualifications

·           This position requires someone who has administrative experience and ideally educated to degree level.

 

Person Profile / Experience

·           General Affairs experience within an office environment

·           Strong Administration background

·           Working within a multi- cultural environment

 

·           Able to be fully accountable for the delivery of agreed targets and taking responsibility for their timely delivery.

 

·           Able to resolve sensitive and complex problems in a timely manner.

·           Able to demonstrate a breadth of knowledge outside their own specialism.

·           Ideally has prior experience of working within a Japanese environment.

 

·           Ideally has prior experience in dealing expatriate staff housing and benefits matters.
