Main Responsibilities

Sales and Purchase Ledger

-       Assisting invoice processing from various accounting systems (PO & NO PO systems)

-       Prepare daily accounts payable journal entries

-       Assist in raising, processing sales invoices and related tasks.

-       Prepare Debtor/Creditor reconciliation report and raise any discrepancy with line manager timely and efficiently


-       Prepare Bacs/other payment runs for invoices approved

-       Prepare staff expenses/credit card journals

-       Handling and writing cheques

-       Prepare Petty Cash journals

Periodical tasks and responsibilities

-       Prepare bank/creditor/debtor reconciliation

-       Assist in: month end adjustment journals, reporting requirements to Head Office and other associated companies, year-end statutory accounts preparation and audit, meeting department objectives

Ad Hoc accounting duties


-       Previous Accounts Assistant experience vital

-       Strong work ethic and taking initiative in your workload and task priority

-       Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail

-       Excel skills

-       Adapt to the role and company quickly

-       Ideally part qualified ACCA, AAT, accounting student.



Fluent English

Japanese a plus


Must be eligible to work in the UK for the contract length. YMS welcome.
