Main Responsibilities

• Translating everything necessary for the localisation of computer games, including in-game text, manuals and packaging (Japanese to Italian).
• Ensuring timely delivery of all projects.
• Liasing with the localisation team.

Who we are looking for

• Native Italian speaker with native level written Japanese, Japanese Language Proficiency Test - Level 1 preferable.
• 2+ years experience working as a translator essential.
• Game translation experience preferable
• Business level English is also required for internal purposes.
• Precise and able to pay attention to detail
• Able to work over a long period of time for one project
• Flexible enough to change schedule and cope with unpredictable extra tasks and various restrictions on the text (legal requirements and space limitations, etc.).
• General PC skills, especially those in excel spreadsheet

Salary and Benefits

• £28,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience.
