Job Profile

Management of IT helpdesk support service at client site and back office.

Main Responsibilities

• Managing 3 to 4 support staff and their rotation shift.
• Managing and producing official documentation such as change controls, monthly reports, incident reports and all other IT related system documents.
• Maintaining an excellent level of support service.
• Liaising with IT manager at client site and taking care of his/her enquiries.
• Managing support logs.
• Providing 1st and 2nd line support at office and 3rd line support at back office.

Who we are looking for

Candidates will ideally be certified to all three Microsoft certifications as follows:
• 70-290 MCP examiniation - Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment.
• 70-291 MCP examiniation - Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure
• 70-270 Installing examiniation - Configuring and Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional.

The successful candidate will have:
• good IT documentation skills including drawing of networks and rack layout etc.
• familiarity with operations/troubleshooting of Windows XP desktop machines and Windows 2003 servers as well as standard office software and server software(AntiVirus, Tape Backup, UPS utility).
• ability to manage third party vendors, suppliers, service providers and telecommunication carriers.
• good understanding of TCP/IP networks.
• preferrably 5 to 10 years experience in IT industry.
• good communication and user management skills.

Salary and Benefits

• £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
• BUPA after first year of working.
• Health Check(once a year) after 2 years of working.
