Main Responsibilities

Research Responsibilities

• To review study protocols /participate in the generation of study protocols
• To prepare submissions to the Ethics Committee
• To liaise closely with the recruitment staff regarding screening status, drop outs,withdrawals, replacements and follow-up appointments
• To supervise all safety aspects during the studies
• To assist with the writing of final medical study reports
• To keep up to date with relevant ICH GCP issues and developments
• To prepare papers for publication

Project Management Responsibilities

• To provide overall project management of clinical trials.
• Be responsible for project assessment & initiation, resource procurement & planning, project implementation, collaborating with a cross-functional team, milestone planning and tracking
• Overall supervision and training of the Project Team including Study Manager, Clinical Research Associate & Volunteer Recruitment (VR) Project Managers
• To be familiar with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• To be involved with sponsor and internal liaison/meetings/progress reporting for relevant activities
• To monitor the study budget at all times and ensure that all costs are tracked

Who we are looking for

• Fluent Japanese and English (speaking, reading and writing)
• Project Management Experience
• Science or pharmacology background also considered
• Proven track record in leadership and knowledge of the business side of medical trials is preferrable
