Business / IT Consultant – Global Corporate Banking
Location: Central London (Hybrid – 3–4 days onsite)
We are seeking bilingual consultants to partner with leading Japanese financial institutions and drive business and technology transformation initiatives in a global environment. This role offers opportunities to work across strategic, operational, and technology-focused projects within the banking sector.
Responsibilities
Deliver consulting services across PMO, Business Analysis, and Product Management functions
Lead IT transformation and Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) initiatives across:
Lending
Capital Markets
Transaction Banking
Trade Finance
Settlement Operations
Core Banking
Build trusted relationships with clients and identify opportunities to create additional value
Collaborate closely with internal teams and project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
Work autonomously while maintaining proactive and effective communication
Requirements
5+ years of consulting and/or project delivery experience
Experience in IT transformation and/or operational transformation initiatives
Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills
Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and related tools
Good understanding of cloud technologies, AI, and cybersecurity trends
Preferred Qualifications
End-to-end project lifecycle experience
Experience in requirements gathering, UAT planning, and stakeholder management
Knowledge and hands-on experience in corporate banking and/or capital markets projects
Certifications (Preferred)
PMP
PRINCE2
Scrum Certifications (CSM, PSM, CSPO, PSPO)
IT-related professional certifications
