Main Responsibilities

·         With a full relaunch as the Brand marketing manager, you will oversee the flagship brand and guide it towards sustainable growth by:

·         Providing short/long term strategic direction

·         Involve internal/external teams to materialize strategies into innovations and activations with perfect execution

·         Managing broader, multilayered stakeholders to drive agenda.

·         Focus on consumer centric strategies for growth

-          Lead development and execution of annual brand plans in line with brand strategy to solidify positioning and meet sales targets

-          Continuously define and finetune innovation pipelines by proactively seeking gaps and new opportunities for target market in line with the speed of consumer behavior/market change

-          Challenge status quo to bring creative solutions to transform the brand into modern times

-          Lead and guide 2 direct reports and ensure their growth in business analysis, forecasting, project management and cross functional team leadership

-          Build constructive relationship with Board of Directors, Regional Vice President and global marketing team to bring inspiration, new way of doing soft functional to a broader global team.

 

Requirements

·         Educated to University Degree level. Masters is a plus, especially in Marketing or Business Management

·         Strong end-to-end Brand Marketing experience in Japan local market (FMCG experience is preferred but not must)

·         Strategic influence abilities & proven leadership capability, ability to inspire

·         Strong business acumen with experience managing P/L

·         Strong communication and presentation skills in Japanese language

·         Ability to multi-task with varied skill-set and ability to develop new skills outside of comfort zone
