Job profile


A Japanese manufacturing company is looking for a Chemical Engineer who can manage compound process and development at their newly built technical centre.



Main responsibilities

-          Compound process assistance

o   Assist and develop mixing process for compounds in the factory

o   Failure identification and countermeasure proposal

o   Close collaboration with Material development group in HQ

§  Transfer compound from other production facilities to plants

§  Making compound specification

·         Collecting pre-results in the plant and from HQ

§  Introduction of new materials

§  Process development

§  Process verification in the plant

§  Reporting on trial process


-          Compound development (after training in Japan)

o   Compounds for PCR/SUV/LT tires for both OE and replacement

§  Making and following up on Feasibility studies (compound)

§  Preparation of technical specification

§  Following up and coordination of laboratory test mixing and testing

§  Following up and coordination on the conversion (mixing)

§  Planning and coordination of verification (test)

§  Verifying (test) the specification and identify the needs

§  Summarizing of results and propose next steps

§  Report and close contact on each step with HQ

§  Industrialization together with the plant

o   Supplier verification and proposal for region specific


-          QM Process

o   Keep development guide lines

§  For technical documentations

§  Verify technical specification with guidelines

§  Follow up and keep documentation and procedures according to
ISO-TS 16949 (for Development)

§  Assist and propose new directives for European/African compounds.

Flexible hours: 40 hours per week

Mon – Fri: 09:00am - 03:00pm (core hours)




30 days + Public holiday
