A Japanese Global manufacturing company is looking for the Logistics Manager, who will coordinate and manage all supply chain operation like planning, purchasing, warehousing, raw material preparation and logistics to accomplish company goals and objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

l  Responsible for supply chain management duties like planning, purchasing, logistics and inventory systems

l  Ensure that all operations comply with guidelines, laws and IS013485 requirements

l  Comply with the organization's policies and procedures when managing the movement of products/equipment/material in and out of the country. Also, be sure to comply with all relevant local/international laws and processes.

l  Supervise necessary documentation and online permit application to achieve the cost efficient, and lawful execution of all import/export activities.

l  Arrange and control shipment schedule to manage inbound and outbound expenditure efficiently.

l  Plan and implement Import and Export strategy and activities in compliance with overall aims and requirements of the organization.

l  Check and analyze data of logistics target and product life cycle

l  Ensure material and product stock is adequate; monitor usage and place orders to replenish stocks to avoid insufficiencies. Analyze data to anticipate future demands and needs.

l  Oversee receiving and issuance to reconcile inventory.

l  Report to upper management on inventory level issues

l  Manage the schedule of all relevant Import and Export law and procedures including duties, licenses and restrictions.

l  Coordinate with other teams to make plans and production schedules and shipments

l  Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors in order to obtain a good deal for supplies

l  Search and recommend potential logistic provider who can provide more reasonable cost.

l  Initiate process improvements and cost-savings activities

l  Receive, document, keep and organize incoming shipment and deliveries properly

l  Respond to any issues and complaints

l  Perform other related tasks that may be assigned by superior

 

Qualifications

l  Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Customs or Business Administration or related fields.

l  3+ years management experience required.

l  5-7 years’ experience in manufacturing specializing production planning, logistics or supply chain in a medical products company or applicable industry, is required.

l  English business level speaker.

l  Preferably experience in SAP or ERP system.

l  good communication and interpersonal skills
