Position Title: Manufacturing Manager
Global healthcare company is currently looking for an experienced and highly motivated Manufacturing Manager who can develop and manufacture their products in the medical device field. This position will be responsible for managing all production activities to accomplish company goals and objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
l Develop, evaluate and assist the direction of improving processes for all production activities including evaluation, creation and revision of systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control and implementing change.
l Oversee the manufacturing standard operating procedures, process flow, work instructions implementations.
l Implement initiatives to achieve team targets related to Quality, Cost and Delivery.
l Analyze manufacturing process and implement measures to utilize fully the resources of machines and manpower.
l Manage on-going cost reduction and continuous improvement programs to reduce manufacturing expenses and labor cost.
l Prepare the budget allocation/requirements of the team.
l Maximizes all resources with respect to 4M; Man, Machine, Material and Method.
l Ensure to achieve production target and to delivery on time.
l Monitor direct and indirect material inventory with using SAP system.
l Monitor productivity rates and product standards, and implement quality control programs.
l Recommends hiring, promotion, transfer and other necessary movement of personnel.
l Ensure to provide proper training in compliance with the all company rules and standards to all employees.
l Manage corrective and preventive actions to verify compliance and to ensure conformance.
l Ensure compliance with QMS and GMP to assure shipping of exclusively high quality products.
l Assist in the investigation of non-conformance and quality issues and cooperate in the formulation of correction and improvement actions.
l Collect and analyze data and production reports for factory managers
l Ensure that basic building facilities, production and measuring equipment are well-maintained and conducts preventive maintenance
l Facilitate improvement changes and see to it that proper evaluation and risks were considered.
l Perform other related tasks that may be assigned by the immediate superior.
l Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields preferably in Chemical Engineering.
l 5-7 years’ experience in manufacturing specializing production planning and engineering in a medical products company or applicable industry, is required.
l English business level speaker.
l Able to plan, lead, organize or control a team.
l Excellent decision making skills, strong leadership and communication proficiency
