You will be responsible for supporting and coordinating marketing communications to help increase brand awareness and ultimately generate new leads and increase sales for new and existing product range.
As a true allrounder working closely with each sales division and product management teams, you will look to understand our product ‘key features’ and learn about the markets Europe target in both UK and Europe.
You will be responsible for a range of activities such as event management, Social Media Management, assisting of press releases, keeping websites up-to-date, advertising, PR.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
-Significant internal and external relationships
-Event/Exhibition Management; planning the logistics, from shipping the products to event, getting stands ready, arranging & booking travel, as well as coordinating the technical aspects before launching the event. Includes travelling to events as and when required.
-Organize and streamline product offerings into user-friendly concepts.
-Simplify complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids for clients and management.
-Improve search engine results by employing SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) tactics
-Work with social media platforms, ensuring the platforms and company website are updated and reviewed on an on-going and proactive basis.
-Develop and implement marketing campaigns in partnership with the sales and product management teams,and external agencies, employing an appropriate mix of communication channels, including press releases, online campaigns, advertising, exhibitions and events.
-Analyse the results and measure the effectiveness of such campaigns. Present results and reports to sales teams.
-Produce and distribute promotional leaflets, brochures and posters to update customers, making sure they are technically accurate and in line with the division’s requirements.
-Assisting sales teams to implement marketing plans and product promotions.
-Collect and collate Market Intelligence and Competitor Activity data, analysing and using the information to assist the sales teams with leads & new contacts.
-Maintain & analyse customer databases to identify target customers and market opportunities, for sales campaigns
-Localisation of sales & marketing materials for internal & external use, including presentation materials – product information sheets, technical documents, social/ media, etc.
Any other duties as reasonably required.
-Suitable qualification (ideally degree level) and keen interest in Marketing Communications activities including, but not limited to, direct mail, advertising, events, websites, online marketing, PR,
-Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
-Strong communicator with excellent interaction skills, able to communicate with internal staff and outside agencies at all levels.
-Ability to present information in one to one and group situations or via online platforms.
-Experienced on all major social media platforms - LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube.
-Ability to work with a budget.
-Expert PC skills using various software applications, including MS Office suite, web browsers, mail shot services. Adobe creative suite would be an advantage.
