A Japanese Global manufacturing company is looking for the Office Manager, who can help them with the HR and finance activities in establishing a new distribution center in Ireland. The Human Resources and Finance Specialist will coordinate and provide administrative support in various HR and finance functions for this new team, utilizing their strong HR and accounting experience and expertise.
Duties and Responsibilities
Human Resources and General Affairs
l Manage personnel administration (including but not limited to employment contracts, internal regulations, salary, bonus, social security, etc.).
l Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees and ensure the company adheres to legal standards.
l Serve as advisor on all payroll issues by working with external payroll agents.
l Keep track of attendance and administer leave requests, disability claims, and worker’s compensation claims.
l Monitor the performance management system and evaluation process to ensure reports are generated as scheduled.
l Manage the entire recruitment cycle from sourcing to retirement.
l Manage and supervise the usage of the company’s inventory and infrastructure.
l Provide general supporting activities and services to allow employees work comfortably.
l Liaise with external auditors to monitor the flows of cash into and out of the organization and generate regular financial reports on a timely basis. Provide special reports when required.
l Examine invoices and expense claims submitted and prepare payments.
l Prepares the monthly Financial Statements (Balance Sheet / P&L) and related reports on time and with accuracy
l Ensures timely and accurate recording of assets, liabilities, revenues and expenses in accordance with accounting standards in effect.
l Managing financial activities including payments, invoices, expenses, and declare for taxes by working with external accountant office.
l Provide management and other departments with relevant reports for decision making and controlling expenditures, including monthly budget variance reports.
l Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time
l Bachelor’s degree or above (Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields).
l 3 years' + experience in Human Resources
l 2 years’+ experience in Accounting (knowledge of tax and financial reporting standards)
l Experience handling SAP ERP
l Certification of CPA / CMA / CAT is a strong advantage
l English business level speaker.
l Excellent communication skills, strategic thinking and analytical skills.
