Japanese-speaking Sales Administrator




Around £25K per annum depending on experience



Specific Duties:


-         Processing of all invoices using SAP

-         General Administrative Support (e.g. despatching documents, recording and updating excel   spreadsheets as requested, archiving, photocopying, scanning documents and managing credit applications and contracts)

-         Liaise with other group offices, customers and suppliers ensuring a smooth execution from time to time

-         Arranging shipments and preparing necessary documentation

-         Review contract documentation before escalation

-         Maintaining internal client database of orders and payments

-         Maintaining Credit Line Schedule with most recent updates

-         Maintaining Contract Book with most recent updates

-         Maintaining Order Status with most recent updates

-         Payment reminders

-         Dealing with telephone and email enquiries when needed

-         Negotiating with shipping companies to best optimise cargo which we handle

-         Assist with collecting inquiries as required

-         Assist with making offers as required

-         Assist with meetings and customer/supplier calls and visits as required

-         Assist in preparation of presentations as required

-         Support business development activities under the direction of the Trader (TBC)

-         Key client liaison assisting with enquiries and order queries


 Skills & Experience


-         Professional written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English

-         Experience of customer relationship management / development

-         Demonstrable experience of working in an international trading company

             and/or similar business environment

-         Demonstrable experience of working under pressure

-         Proactive approach to all work and problem solving attitude

-         Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy

-         Excellent organisation and time management skills to work towards deadlines

-         Ability to manage multiple tasks whilst being mindful of different time zones and

             their impact on operations

-         Experience of establishing and building relationships with suppliers, sourcing

             new suppliers as required

-         Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to intermediate level

-         Flexibility to undertake overseas travel as and when required

-         SAP experience
