【Main Responsibilities】
· You will be responsible for all sales planning activity in Japan Market by leading three key teams, and collaborating with Marketing and Sales leaders to achieve our internal plan.
· Facilitate internal target-setting for each sales team, and will be the key representative of customers and shoppers in the S&OP cycle.
· Interact with senior management and the leadership team to make critical decisions and continuously search channel and encourage growth hacking of not only your team but the entire Sales team.
· As a key member of the Sales leadership team, you will lead and develop the Sales organization to greater heights to achieve our 2030 ambition.
· Take charge of Japan's 18-month rolling internal plan
- Plan and ensure that Japan's 18-month activity calendar is in line with internal plan by collaborating with Senior Marketing & Sales leaders
- Co-develop topline plan for innovation with Marketing team while taking into account Shopper and Customer perspectives
· S&OP process facilitation as a representative of sales
- Facilitate the S&OP process for sales
- Input Sales perspective and make sure it is accurate and well-representation in the process
· Lead strategic planning for three teams
- Channel & customer marketing (channel strategy, customer activations, portfolio management)
- Shopper activation (Promos, POSM, Sales A&P management)
- Category management (mananagement for selected strategic retailers, customer selling story creation, Key Accounts capability development)
· Engage Team development
- Lead team with a clear purpose, optimize ways of working, and ensure effective collaboration within and beyond the team
- Performance management and development planning for the team
· Educated to University Degree level
· Solid shopper marketing experience in FMCG
· Leadership experience to influence corporate decision-making
· Good understanding of Japanese retail and shopper landscape
· Global framework localization deployment experience
· Good understanding of marketing strategy and financials (especially P&L)
· Team management (more than 5 members)
· Business level English and native level Japanese language skills
· Strong interpersonal communication skills
· Strategic thinker with strong logic and analytical skills
· Dealing with ambiguity
· Business acumen
· Excellent presentation skills
