A leading global bank based in London is seeking a Japanese Speaking M&A Relationship Manager.
Responsibilities:
Build and strengthen relationships with Japanese corporate clients across Europe, acting as the Relationship Manager with a primary focus on M&A-related client coverage.
Identify new business opportunities and originate transactions, with a particular focus on M&A mandates and related opportunities.
Monitor clients’ financial positions and conduct financial analysis as well as credit analysis.
Prepare and review credit applications, waiver requests, and portfolio management documentation.
Coordinate and collaborate with advisory firms and internal stakeholders in relation to M&A transactions.
Work closely with offices across the EMEA region, the Japan platform, and product teams to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, AML (Anti-Money Laundering) obligations, and internal policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Native-level Japanese language skills and business-level or higher proficiency in English.
Extensive experience as a Relationship Manager within Corporate Banking.
Knowledge and experience in M&A transactions and Corporate Finance.
Knowledge of MiFID II and financial crime-related regulations.
