Job description
Excellent opportunity for graduates wishing to start financial career. The role is in Japanese equity research firm, which involves shadowing & supporting the Director, to be trained to become an equity research sales professional. The firm is looking for a personable, proactive candidate, with great communication skills & the ability to work on their own initiative & within a team. Attention to detail is vital.
Short-term: gain an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the firm by shadowing & supporting Director.
Long-term: building relationships with global institutional investors & Japanese corporates, promoting the firm’s research & its ideas.
The role will entail
- Shadowing & supporting Director by
- managing data
- managing website and social media channels
- formatting & uploading equity research reports
- producing presentations for existing/potential investors
- organise event/conference for investors
- Liaising with data platforms, eg Bloomberg.
- Business development to acquire new institutional investors to invest in Japanese companies
- Native level English skills
- Strong organisational & Time Management skills
- Self motivated and strong interest in financial sector
- University degree. Minimum 2:1.
- MS Office, including Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
