International Law Firm is looking for Japanese peaking Paralegal
 
Location: Bank, hybrid
Salary: 30-32K
  1. Preparing and delivering client presentations and best practice sessions
  2. Assisting the Senior Paralegal with training
  3. Act as caseworker as required on less complex cases
  4. Support Paralegal/Senior Paralegals and Associates with the progression of more complex cases
  5. Organise application packages
  6. Handle applications including Skilled Worker, Global Business Mobility, ILR and other applications as directed
  7. Draft emails, covering letters, application forms as directed with the use of precedents
  8. General administrative support as required

About you:
Ideally you will have previous experience within immigration or a client-facing professional role. A law degree is not required but a desire to develop your career within a corporate environment is essential. Fluent spoken and written Japanese is essential.
Also required:

  1. Displays professionalism, quality service and a “can do” attitude to internal members/departments of the Firm as well as external clients and vendors
  2. Is able to learn procedural and processing requirements for various visa types
  3. Builds knowledge of Firm and client processes
  4. Demonstrates attention to detail and achieves high level of productivity
  5. Multitasks in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
  6. Meets assigned deadlines and communicates case progress/status/issues to supervisors
  7. Demonstrates flexibility and initiative regarding assignments for self and team
  8. Contributes to positive work environment
  9. Develops strong working relationships with team members and gains their confidence through displaying professionalism and efficiency in all communications
  10. Demonstrates professionalism and confidence in all communications with their team as well as accuracy and proficiency in written communications
  11. Learns from both positive and negative experiences and adapts accordingly
