Account Manager

1. Cash Management
Check incoming remittance and record details into the book
Arrange payments, obtain authorization of payments and record transactions into the book
Arrange foreign exchange and time deposit with the banks and obtain confirmation from MD and record it into the book

2. Management accounts
Obtain monthly reports from Greek Branch and Hamburg Liaison Office.
Produce monthly management accounts and send it to the Directors.

3. Consolidation Report
Produce monthly and more detailed quarterly consolidation report and send it to the Head Office

4. Payroll
Collect necessary information for UK staff and Japanese expats for monthly payroll and send the information to CGI who produces payroll documentation on behalf of DDE.
Check the payroll documentation, obtain BACS payment authorization from MD, and send the signed BACS authorization forms to CGI for arrangement of payment for salary, National Insurance and income taxes. Send payslips to MD for distribution to DDE staff.
Arrange necessary documentation for new starter and termination of employment with CGI.

5. Pension
Calculate employee’s and employer’s monthly pension contribution and inform DDE staff.
Submit required information to AEGON online system for monthly contribution.
Contributions are paid by direct debit.
Communicate and obtain support from Capita for maintaining regulation updates.

6. Japanese Expats
Arrange arrival and departure necessary documentation with PWC and ask PWC to submit them to HMRC on behalf of DDE.
Collect required information and send them to PWC for producing P11D, tax returns, and NIC Settlement return. Check the completed documents from PWC and ask necessary arrangements for PWC to submit them to HMRC.
Produce details for PSA Settlement (Japanese expats and UK staff) and send it to PWC for finalizing the form, obtain the authorization from MD and ask PWC for submission to HMRC.

7. VAT Return
Arrange quarterly VAT Return and submit it to HMRC

8. Corporation tax
Calculate quarterly instalment of corporation tax, obtain authorization from MD, and pay it to HMRC.
Send necessary information to EY, ask yearly tax provision, tax computation and returns.
Check the completed documents, obtain authorization from MD, and ask EY for submission to HMRC.

9. Audit and statutory accounts
Arrange audit schedule with EY auditors.
Communicate, arrange required information and documents, and submit them to auditor.
Check completed statutory accounts from the auditor, obtain DDE Director’s and EY auditor’s signatures, and submit it to the Companies House.
