Key Responsibilities
Perform accounting tasks in accordance with local accounting standards
Handle monthly and annual closing procedures (P/L, B/S, C/F)
Prepare and manage budgets
Collect and analyze financial data using Excel
Prepare financial reports for the headquarters in Japan
Support tax filings and audit processes
Communicate and coordinate with accounting firms, auditors, tax authorities, and business partners
Requirements
Essential
Minimum 3 years of practical accounting experience
Fluent in Japanese and proficient in English at a business level
Proficiency in Excel for data aggregation and analysis
Preferred
Holder of Japan Bookkeeping Certification Level 2 or higher
Holder of BATIC, USCPA, or other international accounting qualifications
Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
Understanding of tax-related matters
