Position: (Japanese Speaking) Billing Analyst
Location: London (hybrid-working)

Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete billing lifecycle, including guiding the preparation of invoices, processing invoice amendments, and compiling all necessary supporting documents, while ensuring adherence to VAT regulations and formatting requirements.
- Liaise with both internal teams and external parties to promptly address and resolve any billing-related issues.
- Record cash collections and payments accurately within the billing system.
- Conduct periodic data transfers from the bespoke billing platform to the company’s accounting system.
- Prepare a variety of billing and profitability reports, and provide support during month-end closing activities.
- Take part in system testing and help manage interfaces between different operational systems.
- Perform regular reviews of billing and cost data to identify inconsistencies or required adjustments.
- Report to the Head of Finance and undertake ad hoc assignments as needed.
- Engage with network suppliers to place orders, verify payments, and handle any disputes.
- Support other members of the Finance team with daily operational tasks.
- Carry out additional duties as they arise.

Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Word, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Strong command of both written and spoken English and Japanese.
- Excellent time-management abilities with strong multitasking and organisational skills.
- Dependable work ethic with consistent punctuality and attendance.
- Highly accurate, well‑organised, and attentive to detail.
- Self‑driven with a strong commitment to completing tasks to a high standard.
- Solid administrative background with a keen awareness of accuracy and completeness.
- Sound understanding of UK and EU VAT regulations.
- Effective communicator and collaborative team member, capable of working both independently and within a team environment.
