Purpose
The General Manager Finance & Administration is in charge for overseeing the finance, accounting and administrative functions of them. The role provides strategic leadership in financial management, risk control, and operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. 
 
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Finance & Administration function, covering accounting, budgeting, financial planning, cash flow, compliance and administrative operations
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting in line with corporate and statutory requirements
  • Develop and monitor budgets that support strategic business goals, ensuring alignment between financial performance and company objectives
  • Manage treasury and tax functions, including Group cash pooling activities and coordination with external advisors and authorities
  • Expansion of the Group Cash Pooling System to all EMEIA based companies in the coming 2 years.
  • Oversee internal approval processes related to payments, transfers, and cash flow.
  • Oversee administrative functions, including facilities management, contract management, general services, and corporate governance support
  • Organize and manage shareholders’ meetings and Board of Directors meetings, including agenda setting, document preparation, minute taking, and post-meeting follow-up.
  • Provide financial insights and support to business decision-making, identifying opportunities and risks based on internal data and external market analysis
  • Drive continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives in finance and administration operations
  • Coordinate with external accounting firms and tax advisors for annual audits, tax filings, and financial reporting.
  • Act as a liaison with auditors (internal and external), legal advisors, tax authorities, and other key external stakeholders
  • Participate in key decisions as a member of their HQ team as we expand our Regional HQ functionality and legal structures.
  • Support mid-term planning and annual action plans in collaboration with other departments
  • Contribute to due diligence and post-merger integration activities as needed.
 
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior finance and administration role, preferably in an international manufacturing or industrial company
  • Deep knowledge of finance, accounting, compliance, and administration
  • Familiarity with IFRS and local GAAP requirements; experience in Japan-parented organizations is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, budgeting, and forecasting skills
  • Experience with ERP and financial systems; proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
