Job Description
- Provide technical and functional expertise for core business applications, acting as the service owner responsible for ensuring availability, reliability and fitness for purpose.
- Analyse and resolve application issues, manage incident response, and coordinate communication with internal stakeholders and technical teams.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, collaborating with business sponsors and global project teams to enhance systems and support strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to application roadmaps, assess long‑term service improvements, and drive modernisation, consolidation and efficiency across the application landscape.
- Liaise with stakeholders across EMEA, Americas and Tokyo to support ongoing operational processes, change initiatives and regulatory‑aligned system enhancements.
Qualifications
- Strong functional knowledge of IT systems, including UNIX and Oracle databases.
- Experience in a technical support role, with an understanding of banking systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey clear and accurate information.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Desirable: Project management experience.
- Desirable: Good level of written and spoken Japanese.
