Japanese Speaking Assistant Fund Analyst

A renowned international financial institution looks for Japanese Speaking Assistant Fund Analyst candidates. The role’s primary responsibilities are:

• Research the European asset management industry and asset managers especially in alternative investment market and equities market.
• Provide secretarial services to the Managing Director

Main Tasks:
In Fund Analyst duties:

• Conduct due diligence on funds and asset managers
• Research the latest trends and highlights in the European asset management industry
• Find promising investment strategies and report them to the managing director.
• The duties include overseas business trips (3-4 times a year to Zurich, Dublin, Luxembourg, etc.), which occasionally could include an overnight stay.
• Prepare reports and documents based on notes and consultation with the Managing Director

In Admin & Secretarial duties:

• Assist the Managing Director in ensuring the smooth running of the business such as:
• Cash management of the firm with banks
• Invoice payments
• Hotels, Restaurants, Air tickets, etc bookings for the Directors from Overseas

Required Skills and Experiences: 

• Native level of Japanese and reading and writing skills in English
• More than 3 years of working experience in the financial industry preferable

Advantageous qualifications: 

• Passing appropriate financial services exams preferable (including the UK regulatory module and recent/current FCA approval)

Salary: £40K – 50K (depending of the candidate’s experience and skills)
