- MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
The main purpose of the role of HR assistant is to be responsible for performing administration duties both for the Global Mobility team and the wider People Department, including providing visa sponsorship advice to expatriates/rotational employee and responsible for representing the People Department in the UK:
- Support the team with payroll tasks in some European countries
- Support the team with European expats on their return to their home countries.

- Build trusting professional relationships with team members and maintain good communication with other Departments and members including global offices
- Act as a support contact for returning and relocating (OUT of Europe) expats, responsible for handling various queries, coordinating with returning suppliers, moving, closing bank accounts and other company contact tasks
- Dealing with fringe benefits (including medical care)
- Perform salary and allowance payment duties for Japanese expats in selected continental European countries
- Assist other members in general practice in the exercise of visa sponsorship and UK visa functions as a visa sponsor
- Perform various calculation, posting and payment tasks associated with payroll and other operations related to the Department
- Undertake other general administration-related tasks required for the operation of the team.

- QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/PERSONAL QUALITIES
- Fluent in English and Japanese language skills
- Must be proficient in the use of MS Office, Word, Power Point, particularly Excel (using formulas, pivot tables, Sum IFs, V Look ups, calculations)
- Experience using SAP accounting systems
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Hard working
- Good Team-player
- Excellent organisation skills.
