Position:                      Marine Service Engineer

Base Salary:                3,000-4,000/monthly including Holiday allowance + Up to 4 months bonus + Overtime Payment

Office Location:         Rotterdam, Netherlands

Language:                   Fluent in English

Company:                   Japanese company specialising in the maintenance, support, and sales of marine equipment.

 

Responsibility 

On-site installation verification, adjustment, inspection, repair, and commissioning tasks for marine products in Europe such as Spain and Portugal.

Technical advisory services and quotation preparation, including troubleshooting for clients and service engineers (via phone, email, web connection).

Personal skill enhancement through participation in training sessions and educational programs, as well as tasks related to the improvement of service network maintenance, such as creating and streamlining various documents (digitalization), and planning and conducting training sessions.

 

Requrirements 

Must have experience in maintenance on ships or at shipyards.

Experience as a seafarer, ship crew, or engineer in shipyards will be preferable.

Able to travel overseas in Europe 1-2 times per month, with each trip lasting approximately 5 days.

Able to commute to the office in Rotterdam daily if there are no business trips.

Strong interest in their marine equipment and a high willingness to learn.

Above Vocational level (MBO / HBO) of electrical engineering.

Offshore working experience will be a plus.
Basic PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.).

Valid work permit in the Netherlands.
Driving license.
