Position:                      Mechanical Engineer

Base Salary:                3,000-4,000/monthly including Holiday allowance + Up to 4 months bonus + Overtime Payment

Office Location:         Rotterdam, Netherlands

Language:                   Fluent in English

Company:                   Japanese company specialising in the maintenance, support, and sales of marine equipment.

 

Responsibility 

On-site mechanical maintenance, repair, inspection, and adjustment tasks.

Supervision of removal work for ships propellers(FPP, CPP, Thruster) in European countries including Spain, Turkey and Greece etc.

Providing technical advice and preparing quotations for clients and service engineers.

Preparing work reports and technical documentation.

Technical support in collaboration with the Japan headquarters and other international offices Performing tasks in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Occasional business trips within Europe (approximately 1-2 time per month).

 

Requrirements 

Mast have experience in maintenance with marine mechanical equipment.

Experience as a seafarer, ship crew, or engineer in shipyards will be preferable.

Able to travel overseas in Europe 1-2 times per month, with each trip lasting approximately 5 days.

Able to commute to the office daily if there are no business trips.

Strong interest in the marine product and a high willingness to learn.

Above Vocational level (MBO / HBO) of mechanical engineering.

Offshore working experience will be a plus.
Basic PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.).

Experience in the same role or the ability to read electronic circuits is preferred.

Valid work permit in the Netherlands.
Driving license.
