SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Product & Inventory Manager to oversee our product line and inventory management processes. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring we have the right products in stock at the right time, optimizing inventory levels, and enhancing overall operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen understanding of market trends, and the ability to collaborate in different departments.
The position is based in Milan/London. You will report to VP Business operation & financial & work closely with Merchandising & cross-functional teams to streamline processes & contribute to the development the projects. 
 

Duty & Responsibilities
Inventory Management:

  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize excess stock and reduce stockouts.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and ensure accurate inventory reporting.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate terms and maintain optimal stock levels.

     

 

Product Management:

  • Analyze market trends and customer demand to inform product selection and pricing strategies.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and merchandise displays that maximize product visibility.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle from inception to discontinuation, ensuring timely launches and phase-outs.
     

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Utilize inventory management software and tools to track product performance and generate reports.
  •  Analyze sales data and inventory turnover rates to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management to inform business decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Coordinate with purchasing, sales, and marketing teams to align inventory with sales forecasts and promotional activities.
  • Provide training and support to staff on inventory management best practices and systems.
     

Compliance & Best Practices:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and inventory management best practices.
  • Continuously assess and improve inventory management processes for efficiency and accuracy
