About the Role
Our client, a leading international financial institution, is seeking a Relationship Manager to join their Corporate Banking team in London. This front-office role focuses on managing relationships with Japanese corporate subsidiary clients in the UK, delivering tailored banking solutions and supporting strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of Japanese corporate subsidiary clients to achieve commercial and risk objectives.
- Collaborate with product partners to deliver client-focused solutions.
- Prepare high-quality credit papers and manage credit approval processes.
- Monitor and mitigate risks across market, credit, operational, and conduct areas.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support senior Relationship Managers with origination and strategic business development.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across regions.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Front-office corporate banking experience, including client coverage and credit analysis.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, financial products, and risk management.
- Ability to build relationships across cultures and geographies.
Preferred:
- Japanese language skills or experience working with Japanese clients.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Education
- Undergraduate degree required; professional qualifications beneficial.
