Job Summary:
Our client is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. This role involves overseeing the accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, prepare and review the statutory accounts and providing strategic insights to support business decisions.
Main responsibilities:
1) Preparing and revieing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
2) Handling month-end and year-end closing processes.
3) Reconciling general ledger accounts and resoling discrepancies.
4) Overseeing accounts payable and receivable functions.
5) Conducting financial analysis and providing insights to support strategic planning.
6) Assisting the Year End, Quarterly period and Month end accounts.
7) Leading the preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with local GAAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
8) Assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities.
9) Coordinating with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
10) Staying updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.
