Job profile
A Japanese global trading company is looking for a Trading Assistant.
Roles and Responsibilities
Handle cocoa/sugar shipments, related correspondence, payments and SAP entries, issue invoices, communicate with suppliers/customers related shipping side.
Settle despatch/demurrage money for sugar to place future orders for cocoa/sugar/coffee
Send execution results and check trade on recap/statement.
Handle cocoa/sugar physical shipment (SAP entry)
Handle administrative jobs for future operation
General administrative jobs for cocoa/sugar/coffee department (Future market order)
Perform margin money management and monthly reconciliation between broker's statement and SAP balance
Liquidate future position and do related administrative jobs
Additional ad hoc duties as required
Skills/experience
- Language: English- written and spoken (Business level)
- Computer skills - Outlook, Word, Excel, SAP (advantage)
- Effective time and task management
- Excellent Numeracy
- Accuracy
- Sense of responsibility
- Can do attitude
- Motivated personality

Hours
: Rotating pattern
Execution will be done after the market closure (6.30pm), and the candidate will need to work 2 weeks overtime until execution has finished (approximately 6.45pm to 7.00pm). The role may involve additional overtime requirements outside these times.

- Monday – Friday 9:00AM – 5:00PM for two weeks and 8.30AM – 6.45PM (Future order execution) for two weeks
