Position: Automation Application Developer
Location: London
Contract: 6 Months Initially
Pay: £415.16 UMB/day

Company: Leading provider of IT services to one of the major Japanese banking group in the EMEA region, supporting one of Japan's largest banks and a global financial powerhouse.
About the Role:
- Designing, developing and testing the automation workflows and supporting the implementation of the RPA solution to ensure quality of the system.
- Coordinating with other development teams in order to ensure that automation process will interface correctly with end to end process solution in order to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with RPA Business Analysts to design, build, test, and implement RPA solutions.
- Create and maintain Solution Design Documents (SDD) throughout the project lifecycle; approve for deployment.
- Assist SMEs and Programme Managers in business case development and identifying new RPA opportunities.
- Investigate and resolve RPA incidents and process exceptions using root cause analysis.
- Develop automation using REFramework and custom frameworks.
- Build additional functions in C#.NET for reporting, data reconciliation, and tasks beyond standard RPA capabilities.
- Write SQL scripts for data analysis and integration with automation solutions.
- Collaborate with C# developers to ensure compatibility across systems; occasionally contribute to C# development tasks.
- Provide regular progress updates and resolve issues during development, UAT, and bug fixing.
- Support production operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of RPA environments.
- Conduct RPA testing and assist with UAT.
- Follow company coding standards and maintain existing RPA processes.
Key Skills:
Essential:
- Strong experience in UiPath RPA technologies (minimum 20 processes of varying complexity).
- Proven experience in C#.NET and SQL development.
- Knowledge of MS .NET Framework, object-oriented programming, and relational databases.
- Experience with UiPath Orchestrator (publishing, assets, triggers, queues).
- Ability to develop unattended robots and work with Citrix platforms.
Hands-on debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Desirable:
- Financial services experience.
- WPF development skills, API automation, Agile/DevOps/Jira knowledge.
