Position: Accounting assistant / coordinator

Position Overview
The Accounting assistant / coordinator is responsible for supporting the finance team in managing vendor invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records of accounts payable transactions. This role ensures timely and accurate payment to suppliers while adhering to company policies and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Verify that all invoices are correctly coded and fully documented.
Maintain supplier general ledger accounts and ensure records are consistently updated.
Investigate and resolve invoice disputes and discrepancies.
Track overdue accounts and follow up with suppliers to ensure prompt payments
Work closely with other departments to address and resolve supplier-related issues.
Provide assistance and support to the finance and accounting team as needed.
Comply with the company’s Health and Safety Policy.
Requirement
Experience in finance and accounting
Proficiency in English is mandatory
Proficiency in Japanese or Chinese is preferable
