MAIN PURPOSES OF THE POSITION
• Ensuring processes such as raising quotations, sales orders, sales invoices, are correct.
• Responsible for delegating all project accounting tasks to all 6 members of the team.

Job description
• Preparation for weekly meeting agenda.
• Creating / updating department manuals in relation to Project Accounting.
• Contract review for the Sales / Corporate / Accounting departments.
• Responsible for delegating tasks such as SAP S4Hana, creating sales quotations and sales
orders upon request from project managers to the wider team.
• Ensuring monthly deadlines are met by communicating regularly with the project
managers, ensuring the required documents are processed within the appropriate month.
• Ensuring that the cost of sales is released from Balance Sheet to Statement of Profit & Loss
by the deadline.
• Working closely with the managers and Corporate Department, ensuring all the sales and
cost of sales data are included in the appropriate month.
• Inspecting all data in accordance with the requirement of IFRS15, in both figures and
documents.
• Responsible for creating reports relating to IFRS15.
• Responsible for answering complex enquiries e.g., auditing queries.
• Checking the expense claims submitted by the departments and ensuring all the
information is included and correct before manager’s approval.
• Attending and participating in meetings where necessary e.g. audit meetings.
• Participating and contributing as required in company-led projects.
• Responding to ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Corporate Manager/ Managers.
• Responsible for maintaining and storing electronic accounting documents in dedicated
location.

Requirements
• AAT qualified or part qualified with over 5 years of experience in an accounting management position.
• Able to provide advice on project accounting matters.
• Advanced mathematical skills.
• Excellent administrative skills, the ability to organise a team effectively.
• Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail are mandatory.
• Ability to detect inconsistencies and errors.
• Must possess excellent prioritisation skills and ability to work in accordance with
deadlines.
• Must be confident in managing and delegating to a team.
