[Main Responsibilities]

Compliance:

・   Manage the regulatory reporting schedule in Europe; liaise with the offices in Europe to collate the reports.

・   submit them to the relevant authorities on schedule and report it to THQ as required.

・   Provide support with compliance and regulatory activities as directed by management.

・   Support with the research and analyse changes in regulatory and legislative requirements for the company in Europe.

・   Prepare draft legal/contract documents for review by management as required.

・   Liaise with the company’s legal advisors to clarify legal/contractual matters as required.

・   Support management in Company Secretarial related work.

 

Internal Controls:

・   Support the management of inter-company agreements.

・   Prepare documents for Board of Directors/Share Holders meetings and file the meeting minutes accordingly.

・   Provide support on the reviews and updates to the Business Continuity Plans and Internal Regulations.

・   Draft/update/review the company risk report for approval by management.

・   Assist with the Request of Approval process as directed by management.

 

General:

・   Build and maintain working relationships with external compliance and regulatory partners.

・   Travel as required to perform business activities.

・   Perform other related tasks as assigned by management and to meet business needs.

 


[Requirements]

・   Minimum 4 years’ experience in Risk, Compliance, Internal Controls or Legal Support.

・   Financial Services experience is desirable.

・   Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

・   Interpersonal, negotiation, and diplomacy skills, with a high comfort level in dealing with senior management, colleagues and advisors.

・   Planning and organising skills..

Advanced proficiency in Japanese and English (spoken and written)


[Visa]

Applicants will need to be in possession of a valid UK working visa, as no visa sponsorship is provided.

・   Holidays: 20 days (holiday entitlement increases after each year of service, max 25 days after 5 years of service) + bank holidays.
