Role Overview

Our client is are seeking a highly motivated Project Finance Professional to join their Amsterdam office. 

The successful candidate will play a key role in the origination, structuring, and execution of project finance transactions, encompassing both primary and secondary market activities. 

The successful candidate will also be required to engage in close coordination with the Tokyo head office—such as budgetary matters and credit reviews—in what might be termed planning duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Transaction Execution: Support the end-to-end execution of project finance transactions, from initial origination through to successful financial close.
• Quantitative Analysis: Conduct sophisticated financial modelling, comprehensive risk analysis, and rigorous due diligence for project finance and other specialized finance mandates.
• Credit Documentation: Assist in the preparation of credit applications, and high-level internal presentations.
• Portfolio Oversight: Contribute to active portfolio management and post-transaction monitoring activities.
• Planning  Duties: Close coordination with the Tokyo head office—such as budgetary matters and credit reviews.

Candidate Requirements

• Professional Experience: 2–7 years of experience specifically in Project Finance is a mandatory requirement.
• Technical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities and a high level of proficiency in financial modelling.
• Linguistic Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Japanese at a professional business level.
