Japanese Speaking Transaction Banking Vice President
The London branch of a leading global bank is looking for a Japanese Speaking Transaction Banking Vice President.
The role is primarily responsible for supporting the implementation, sales promotion and day-to-day support of e-banking for the London office of a Japanese company. The successful candidate will be required to be involved in transactional sales activities in conjunction with the relationship managers in the front office.
Main responsibilities:
Customer relations, implementation support and conducting demonstrations on e-banking/channel products
Prepare, review and customise contracts and application forms
Liaise with branch support and GTBD members in the EMEA region
Liaising and working with GTBD members on cash/channel products such as e-banking, host-to-host, pooling, MBCC, etc.
Collaborate with IT department on product support
Skills and experience required:
Working experience in the banking industry, particularly in cash management related roles such as:
e-banking implementation, integration and maintenance
Payment operations management
Cash pooling implementation, integration and maintenance
Host to host / SWIFT connectivity implementation, integration and maintenance
Knowledge of APIs related to PSD2/Open Banking
Experience in customer proposals and presentations on e-banking and CMS products
Knowledge and experience of transaction, payment and foreign exchange operations
Standard knowledge of SWIFT and interbank messages (MT1xx, MT2xx, MT9xx, ISO20022 messages: pain.001, camt.053/052 etc.)
Standard knowledge of the UK and European payments market environment (BACS/CHAPS, SEPA/Target2, SWIFT, etc.)
High level of communication skills in English (essential)
Japanese language skills (essential: to deal with Japanese companies)
