Japanese Equities Sales Role

A securities firm based in London is seeking a Japanese Equities Sales professional. This role involves marketing Japanese equities to global institutional investors, primarily in the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Japanese equities research to institutional investors across Europe and the UK
• Collaborate with in-house analysts to deliver investment ideas and research insights
• Propose stock ideas and provide market updates based on client needs
• Organize and execute meetings and roadshows connecting investors with corporates and analysts
• Develop new client relationships while strengthening existing ones
• Analyze trends in the Japanese equity market and disseminate relevant information

Requirements

• Sales experience at a securities firm or related financial institution
• Strong knowledge of and interest in Japanese equities (required)
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Business-level English proficiency and native-level Japanese required
• Ability to operate effectively in an international environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to deliver results collaboratively within a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing network with European institutional investors
• Experience covering Japanese equities (either as an analyst or in a sales capacity)
