Job Title: Technical Customer Support Representative
Location: San Jose, California
Base Salary: $70-75K / year + Bonus (Negotiable)
Weekly day range: Monday to Friday (8 am – 5 pm) Basically No Overtime.
Language: Fluency in English
■Main responsibilities
Provide front line, first level, technical assistance for our customers.
Troubleshooting product specific issues including application and performance troubleshooting.
Resolve customer issues on the first call as frequently as possible.
Open and manage Pipedrive CRM for leads, data, and customer dashboards.
Quotations and order entry into CRM system daily.
Training of customers on video and in person when needed.
Provide outstanding customer service both before and after sales over the phone.
Manage the pricing and expediting of orders, effectively schedule customer deliveries.
Provide regular reporting to management, including sales pipeline development forecasting, and current customer market condition updates.
Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
Handling of incoming and outgoing shipments. Determines method of shipment.
Affixes shipping labels on packed boxes identifying shipping information on cartons.
Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage.
Organizes the offloading of containers from Japan.
Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
Maintains inventory and shipping materials. Point of contact for the shipping companies.
■Essential experience, competencies and skills requirements
US citizen or Valid working visa in the US with no work restrictions.
Able to have business trips 1-2 times a year to attend exhibitions.
Candidate who meets at least 1 of the following criteria;
Experienced as a Sales assistant and willing to learn manufacturing/electric products such as Sensors, Alarm, and Beam etc.
Experienced in technical support or sales engineering with ideally manufacturing/electric products such as Sensors, Alarms, Beam.
Studying at least basic subjects such as Basic Electric at University or Community college would be preferable.
Able to commute to the office every day in San Jose to manage the inventory.
Good command of Microsoft skills (Microsoft Office/Excel/PPP/Word).
