Company Overview

A trading company is seeking a Coordinator/Assistant Manager for its Corporate Planning Department.
This is an exciting opportunity to support strategic initiatives across divisions and collaborate closely with senior leadership. The role offers a dynamic, multicultural environment ideal for professionals looking to grow their careers with a global perspective.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support cross-divisional strategic projects
  • Organize high-level meetings such as the Investment Committee and Board of Directors
  • Manage logistics including scheduling, venue setup, and materials preparation
  • Handle internal approval processes and legal documentation
  • Record meeting minutes and follow up on action items
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and documentation
  • Liaise with top management and global headquarters in Japan
  • Monitor project timelines and escalate issues as needed
  • Support the Corporate Planning Manager with ad hoc strategic tasks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (e.g., Economics)
  • 5+ years of experience in project coordination, corporate planning, or executive support
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages or Japanese are a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural setting
  • High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential matters

  • Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build cross-departmental relationships
  • Experience in preparing executive-level documents and presentations
