Position: IT Operation Planning Officer (Japanese speaking)

Responsibilities:
Outsourcing Management – Manage service delivery of outsourced operations, including monitoring, reviewing, and improving SLAs and KPIs.
Strategic Planning – Design and implement the operational roadmap, with a focus on automation, risk mitigation, and scalability.
Operational Infrastructure – Lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of operational systems, including preparing business requirement documents (BRDs), defining requirements, and ensuring alignment with evolving technical standards and data integrity requirements.
Daily Operations & Regulatory Reporting – Plan, perform, and ensure the quality of non-outsourced daily back-office operations and regulatory reporting handled by the team, including SFTR daily reporting, core banking system ticket handling, and settlement activities (backup).
Collaboration – Work closely with outsourcing partners (including Japanese IT subsidiary company) and internal stakeholders including Finance/Regulatory Reporting, Risk, IT/Data Management and Front Office.
Framework & standards – Establish, maintain, and enhance the daily back-office control framework, including policies, standards, control objectives etc.
Change & projects – Support system and process changes such as new product implementations, system migrations, and regulatory changes; review requirements and perform testing and control assessments.
Requirements:
Experience – Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (settlement operations, outsourcing management, business analysis); nice to have: Experience using SWIFT Alliance Cloud and ESMIG Portal in U2A mode and Participation in projects to transition operations from U2A to A2A.
Reporting & accounting – Working knowledge of bookkeeping
Tools & data skills – Advanced Excel.
Ways of working – Detail‑oriented, analytical, and structured; able to challenge independently while partnering constructively with the stakeholders.
Language – Business-level English and Japanese.
