Market Analyst at a Japanese Company Position: Market Analyst Location: Central London Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 Employment Period: Mid-April 2026 – February 2027
Job Responsibilities Conduct information gathering, market analysis, and reporting to support the development of business strategies: Gather market information through monitoring political and energy-related news, assessing investment opportunities, and preparing draft reports Monitor energy policy trends in major European countries Analyze strategic and business trends of major European energy companies Research developments in specific areas related to decarbonisation Support reporting to the company’s headquarters in Japan
Required Skills and Experience Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience in the energy sector is highly welcomed Research experience is an advantage Advanced business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese Visa Requirements Applicants must hold a visa that permits work in the UK. (YMS visas and spouse visas are also acceptable if valid through the end of February 2027.)
