Title: Accounts Assistant (Japanese Speaking)
Salary: Around 25K GBP
Location: West area of London

The Accounts Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient financial operations of our freight
forwarding company. This position involves a wide range of accounting tasks, including but not limited to
accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial data entry, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Process and verify invoices and expense reports.
• Prepare and process supplier payments in a timely manner.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Post customer payments and reconcile customer accounts.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records in our accounting system.
• Assist in data entry for various financial transactions.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Provide support to the Accounts Manager as required.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
• Basic English reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. Minimum high school diploma or
equivalent.
• Native level of Japanese
• Ability to organize, prepare and assemble documents containing data from various sources.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.
