Position: Delivery Driver
Contract: Permanent, Monday – Friday, 8:30~17:30
*Weekend, early morning delivery may require depends on the client needs.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles (vans or trucks) to transport goods to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload products onto the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securement to prevent damage during transit.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimize time and fuel consumption, considering factors such as traffic conditions, delivery schedules, and customer locations.
- Verify product accuracy and condition before loading and upon delivery, ensuring that all items match the delivery order and meet quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, interacting with customers courteously and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and regular maintenance of the delivery vehicle and warehouse, reporting any mechanical issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established safety procedures and protocols to minimize risks during transportation and handling of goods.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and promptly, including invoices, delivery receipts, and other relevant documentation.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role, preferably in the food or logistics industry.
- Familiarity with local roads and routes, especially in London area.
- Excellent driving skills, with a strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, as well as perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading products.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage delivery schedules efficiently.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as needed.
- Knowledge of Japanese food products and culture are a plus.
