Position: Japanese speaking Account Assistant
Company: They provide their own Automatic Weighing Solutions for major retailers such as Sainsbury, Tesco etc.
Salary: £24-26K / year
Location: Leeds, UK
Language: Business level of English and Japanese
【Responsibility】
Credit control
- Checking customer’s credit
- Negotiating payment plans and setting up terms and conditions
- Credit checks and monitoring credit ratings
- Ensuring customers pay on time and provide for overdue invoices
- Maintaining accurate records
- Implementing changes in the company’s credit control system
Purchase Ledger
- Code and check invoices
- Work out VAT payments
- Check and reconcile supplier statements
- File invoices and statements in the system
- Deal with purchase enquiries
Processing of staff expenses
Banking
- Processing payments in the system and reconciliations
- Processing bacs payments
- Banking of cheques
SAP Support
- Help Financial Controller provide SAP support to all areas of the business
- Assist with creating reports ad hoc as required by the business
- Point of contact between business and SAP Partner
- Support any SAP add on implementations
- IT point of contact between external IT company and SAP Partners.
【Essential knowledge, skills, qualifications】
- Accounting or Account Assistant experience, or BA in Accounting is a must
- Business level of both Japanese and English
- Debit and Credits understanding
- Confident phone manner
- Credit control experience (Preferred not essential)
- SAP B1 (Preferred not essential)
- Strong excel skills (Preferred not essential)
- IT literate
