Title:               Japanese speaking Account Manager & Business Development
Location:         Santa Clara, California, United States

Base Salary:      $95,000-125,000 / year + Bonus
Language:         Fluency in English and Japanese is a must.

General Position Summary
This position is responsible for meeting sales goals by performing territory management, product presentations, performance management, successful negotiation, and effective sales planning to assist the company in meeting corporate objectives.


Main responsibilities
1.Business Development
• Travels through assigned territory to call on existing and prospective customers, and to attend trade shows for
business opportunities.
• Develops new businesses through introduction of the company and product positioning.
• Researches and compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from
newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trades shows, Internet Web sites, referrals and other sources.
• Researches market conditions and conducts feasibility studies to determine market demand for existing and new
products or services.
• Gathers, analyzes, and compares competitor data and pricing to that of the Company for benchmarking
purposes in evaluating market position.
• Prepares presentation materials for sales and marketing purposes.
• Achieves the sales quota which is discussed and agreed between the incumbent and management.

2.Account Management
• Understands every account/customer’s special requirements, and ensures such items are recorded and properly
• Communicates with customers via phone or email; receives and processes purchase orders, purchase confirmations, invoices, order cancellations or changes in product/delivery schedules.
• Follows up on sample, literature, and specification requests. Outlined for each sales order.
• Checks inventory level and places purchase orders.
• Investigates customers’ complaints and inquiries and provides solutions.
• Completes requests for return merchandise authorization (RMA) and failure analysis.
• Compiles statistics and prepares various reports for management.

3.Other & Miscellaneous
• Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned by Company management.
• Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.

Qualification

Valid working visa holder in the U.S. 

Able to have business trips in the US and Japan frequently. 

Experienced in Sales in Semiconductor or similar industry. Ex.) Electric industry 

Experienced in Key Account management with Global national companies would be preferable. 

Able to adjust the working hours to have meeting with colleagues in Japan. 

Fluency in English and Japanese is a must. 

Driver’s License holder.
