A leading Japanese financial institution is currently seeking a Relationship Manager at the VP level.
The successful candidate may choose to be based in either Frankfurt or Amsterdam, depending on preference. A Native level Japanese language skills are required.

■ Role Overview
This is a corporate sales position targeting Japanese and Asian multinational corporations (MNCs) operating in Europe. The role involves building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the growth and profitability of the Japanese banking division in Europe.
■ Key Responsibilities
Proactive client proposals based on needs analysis (including product sales, development, and transaction banking promotion)
Monitoring and managing team/department revenue and sales progress
Maintaining asset quality through appropriate credit risk management
■ Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Relationship Manager in a financial institution
Knowledge of commercial banking, corporate finance, credit analysis, economics, and accounting
Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese
Bachelor’s degree or higher
■ Desired Competencies
Strong customer orientation, agility, and innovative mindset
Compliance awareness and adherence to internal policies
Team collaboration and sound commercial judgment
■ Salary
A competitive salary will be offered based on experience and qualifications.
Note: For candidates based in Amsterdam, the 30% Ruling may apply. This is a Dutch tax exemption scheme for highly skilled migrants, allowing up to 30% of gross salary to be paid tax-free—effectively increasing net income.
